Charles Caputo was moved by music from an early age. The popular music of his hardscrabble youth laid the foundation for lifetime endeavors in music composition, education and performance. He started supporting himself teaching instrumental music with various music studios and working with numerous bands. There he backed up many well known acts at various NY music venues.

After obtaining degrees; he worked as a band director with the New York City department of education, where he sharpened his compositional skills. His pieces were featured on Manhattan cable TV, along with various NYC school venues and the sports training site of Tempo in Motion. Working as a singer/guitarist today has brought himself full circle to what he enjoys the most.
